1990 Junior Consultant, Department of Orthopaedics, St. Stephen's Hospital, Tis Hazari, Delhi-110054. This is the oldest and the largest non-Governmental hospital in Delhi with a bed strength of over 600.

Was instrumental in changing the profile of the hospital to a superspecialty tertiary care centre even while maintaining a large community outreach programme. Focused on academic profile of the hospital, encouraging all academic activities and research programmes. Instrumental in getting the hospital recognized as a first hospital in the country with ISO certification for Quality, Environmental Safety and Occupational Safety (ISO 9001, 14000, 18000). Instrumental in total computerization of all systems and procedures in the hospital.
